First off, the room was very clean, honestly spotless and I really appreciate that. A clean hotel room sets the tone and they absolutely delivered. The staff was pleasant as well, they were able to help out if I needed anything. I was also lucky enough to get a window with a great view of Hong Kong’s skyline. Location-wise, it’s excellent. It’s about a two‑minute walk to the entrance of the MTR, and roughly five minutes to the nearest station, so getting around is super convenient. If you prefer the tram, that’s even closer, just a couple minutes from the entrance and it can take you straight to Central if you want. The area itself is pretty chill. It’s not overly busy, but if you walk a few streets up, there are several restaurants; a few of which I tried and really enjoyed. If you’re planning to take the ferry to Macau, the terminal is only about a 10–15 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, I’d definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I’m on Hong Kong Island.

Amazing hotel. Great location. Decently spacious rooms for a solo traveller. Clean. Staff were helpful. Water refills on 3rd floor. Close enough to LKF (20 minutes walk) and to the train station (7 min walk). Highly recommend.

Overall a great experience at Y Hotel - would definitely come back again in the future! For the price point and location - amazing IG: @foodreviewdump (for honest food reviews!) Pros: - Nice & Attentive Staff - Good, Central Location - Airport Bus stops are near - Ding Ding stop is outside the hotel (1 block away) - MTR station is a block away - Lounge on the first floor is good w/ free water - Shower pressure is great! Cons: - The elevators(2) can be slow, especially during peak hours - Shower water was leaking through the door onto the bathroom floor; granted they tried to remedy it so +1 for the team here. - I think the issue is moreso the sealant on the shower door - Immediate surrounding area does not have much offerings, mainly dried seafood stores. Will have to walk 5 mins to get to some food spots or public transit.

Absolutely loved my experience at this hotel. Didn't have high expectations since hotels in HK are very expensive and quality isn't up to the mark. But Y hotel was great. The room was clean and bathroom was great. The hotel has not breakfast service but I didn't mind. There's a 711 a 3 min walk away

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Perfect base in Hong Kong!! I stayed at The Y Hotel for 6 nights over New Year. I would 100% stay here again. The location is excellent. I searched for weeks and I’m glad I chose this one. Loads of restaurants and bars nearby, and easy access to Central. Special mention to Fanny. 👏🏽💖 I spoke to her before arrival and she was outstanding throughout. Warm, responsive, professional. She also arranged a late checkout, which made departure day effortless. 😊 The hotel is high-rise. I was on the 28th floor with a city view. Great perspective of Hong Kong. Room: - Clean - Well maintained, modern - Compact, but good by Hong Kong standards - Comfortable bed - Excellent shower pressure 🚿 Service: - 24-hour reception - Housekeeping available any time - Iron, extra coffee capsules, whatever I needed, handled quickly There’s also a lounge area on the first floor with free tea, coffee, filtered water, and space to work. Bonus: airport bus stop around the corner, direct route. 👌🏽 FYI: There's no restaurant on-site but there's many options on the doorstep. A different eatery each day! 😉 Highly recommended!!
